Technology used to make me really nervous because I always assumed it was hard to use or that I just wouldn't understand it. I feel more comfortable using different types of technology and I welcome the challenge of new technology. The same feeling I have when I learn how to use something new I want to be able to give to my classroom one day. I eventually want to teach history and I believe using the Smartboard would really give me an opportunity to share history with the students without even leaving the classroom. The lesson would be less of the old way just memorizing dates and places but more of the students really interacting with me, other students and teachers not just in the classroom but globally. By using the technology I want to make learning an experience.
